After I got rejected to become a Professional Football player the next thing on the list was to be a so-called “Entrepreneur.” (Entrepreneurship was always part of the plan but it would have come after retirement so it just got pushed up the list.)
Keep in mind I was about 18/19 at the time and I thought by the time I was 24 somehow I would be a millionaire!
Little was I wrong…
I always said to myself “How hard is it to make some money online?”
I did it all and have the scars, bruises and t-shirt for them. Ebay – Yup, Selling Clickbank Products, trying to be a copywriter, building apps – you name it I have dabbled in it. The problem I had was I knew I wanted to “Make Money Online” and always pictured working like 1 hour a week and money would be in my bank account when I woke up – we’ve all been there and if you haven’t then I don’t believe you!
Selling Clickbank Products from cat juggling to fruit photography.
Tried to be a copywriter, built a gaming app – you name it I have dabbled in it.

I had probably by the age of 23 registered 5 companies which ended up not turning out to what I expected and dreamed it to be?
The thing is I could have easily given it in, but at the same time I think I knew no different! It was kind of either make this online thing I am trying to do work or if not end up working in a sales environment selling face-to-face.
When I look back and reflect I don’t regret any of it – even though I have probably spent thousands on testing, and trying new things and clocked up them hours. But as well as now been more niched specific in what I do I feel that I also class myself as a generalist online specialist as not only have I been there and done it, but I also know how it all works.
Was I always successful? No, not at all but I feel that I am in a position to give advice in different areas here and there. You may think – but you wasn’t always successful? I say look at some of the great athletes in the world, just because you come 2nd to someone like Hussain Bolt or Schumacher means that your not someone to be listened to – or a complete failure?
Not in my eyes…
As they say, the older you get the wiser you get, I never thought that would be the case at 20 I thought I knew it all and could take on the world – The world showed me differently.
But I kept on fighting and niched down into what now I enjoy what I do.
Even though aI thought I could be an overnight success, and looked at people like Zuk and Steve Jobs and thought one night they sat down and that morning Facebook and Apple respectively were instant hits.
Not as straight forward but I am glad I continued this journey. Patience was always there but you hear it more and more now. Whereas when I was in my naive stage seeing results on all of these sales pages got my blood pumping and thought I could do this straight away – you may have been in that situation once or twice yourself.
So no matter what stage you currently are at – take the failures, and falls as part of the process, embrace them, learn from them and even try to enjoy them as it will get you closer to the results you are actually looking for.
